Computational Statistics AI Expert

Design original computational problems involving statistics, mathematical modelling, simulations, optimization, and numerical analysis.
Build problem setups, oracle functions, and solution validators using Python and specialized scientific packages.
Test tasks against state-of-the-art AI models and refine difficulty, correctness, and reproducibility.
Validate numerical outputs, assumptions, software behavior, edge cases, and solution accuracy.

Qualifications

MS or PhD required, with PhD preferred; MS candidates should ideally have 10+ years of relevant experience.
Strong expertise in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field.
Proven hands-on proficiency with at least one specialized R, Python, Matlab, Scilab, or scientific computing package.
Strong Python skills and comfort working with Linux, terminal environments, and remote compute sandboxes.
