In this role, you'll apply your accounting and financial systems expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through rigorous evaluation of accounting outputs, financial workflows, and ERP logic. You'll assess AI-generated accounting treatments, review financial statements and reconciliations, contribute real-world accounting scenarios, and provide structured feedback grounded in established accounting standards and modern financial systems. This opportunity is suited for accounting and finance professionals with hands-on experience in financial accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, or related functions, along with prior paid human data experience supporting AI training.

Financial Systems & Accounting Expert

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for technical accuracy, including accounting treatments, calculations, journal entries, and explanations.
• Review, analyze, and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, and close workpapers to identify misstatements and provide correct treatments with rationale.
• Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.
• Apply written rubrics and grading guidelines consistently when rating or ranking model outputs and flag ambiguous cases.
• Contribute real-world accounting scenarios and reference answers reflecting modern financial systems and accounting practices.
• Deliver clear, actionable written feedback to project and model teams to support ongoing system improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, month-end close, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management or cost accounting, or FP&A with substantive accounting work.
• Proven experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, or financial statements.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday, or comparable systems; strong Microsoft Excel proficiency is valued.
• Familiarity with finance tools such as BlackLine, Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Avalara, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI is highly regarded.
• Prior paid human data experience supporting AI training through annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading is required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, B2 level or above.
• Reliable internet connection and immediate availability expected.
