Senior Journalism AI Expert

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated writing for quality, factual accuracy, tone, clarity, structure, and editorial consistency.
• Write and edit reference pieces that demonstrate professional newsroom-level quality.
• Provide detailed editorial feedback, copyedits, and rewrites that improve weak or unclear outputs.
• Help define and refine writing standards used to improve AI-generated content.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience as an editor, writer, or journalist at a reputable publication such as WSJ, NYT, Reuters, or a comparable organization, with at least part of the experience within the past 7 years.
• Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university.
• Based in an English-speaking country.
• Exceptional written English with strong journalism, editing, copyediting, research, fact-checking, storytelling, and AP Style knowledge.
