Responsibilities

• AI legal evaluation: Review AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, completeness, and practical usefulness.
• Legal reasoning assessment: Evaluate issue spotting, doctrinal analysis, procedural reasoning, and legal conclusions.
• Civil law review: Assess scenarios involving housing law, family law, consumer law, debt-related matters, and other civil legal services.
• Clinical perspective: Apply experience supervising law students and live-client clinics when evaluating legal responses.
• Structured feedback: Provide clear written evaluations identifying legal errors, reasoning gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Quality assurance: Help ensure AI-generated legal content reflects professional and educational standards.
• Legal education support: Apply clinical pedagogy and assessment experience to improve AI systems used for legal learning and practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Current or previous admission to a U.S. state bar.
• Professional experience directing, supervising, or teaching within a law school legal clinic.
• Expertise in one or more civil legal practice areas.
• Strong understanding of legal doctrine, civil procedure, client representation, and practical legal reasoning.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, issue-spotting, and evaluation skills.
• Ability to assess both doctrinal correctness and practical effectiveness of AI-generated legal responses.
• Must be based in the United States for this engagement.
