You will provide strategic, executive-level expertise to evaluate and improve AI systems designed to transform end-to-end healthcare revenue cycle performance. The role focuses on patient access, coding, billing, denials, collections, payer contracting, reimbursement optimization, and financial performance management. You will assess AI-generated revenue cycle analyses, operational recommendations, and transformation strategies to ensure they are accurate, feasible, and aligned with enterprise financial goals.

Responsibilities

Revenue cycle leadership: Provide executive oversight across front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end revenue cycle operations.
AI strategy evaluation: Review AI-generated revenue cycle analyses, strategic recommendations, and operational improvement plans for accuracy and feasibility.
Revenue optimization: Assess AI tools designed to identify revenue leakage, automate RCM workflows, and improve payer reimbursement.
KPI management: Define and monitor enterprise metrics such as net collection rate, days in A/R, denial rate, cost-to-collect, and cash collections.
Transformation strategy: Develop and evaluate initiatives that improve revenue cycle efficiency and financial performance.
Managed care strategy: Oversee payer contracting, reimbursement optimization, and payer relationship management.
Executive collaboration: Partner with finance, clinical, compliance, and IT leaders to align revenue cycle priorities with organizational objectives.
Executive reporting: Present revenue cycle performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, boards, and investors.
AI training support: Annotate AI outputs and provide structured strategic feedback for healthcare AI training datasets.

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a VP, Senior Director, or equivalent executive-level role.
Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end healthcare revenue cycle operations across patient access, coding, billing, denials, collections, and payer reimbursement.
Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting.
Proven track record leading large-scale revenue cycle transformation initiatives within hospitals, health systems, physician groups, or similar healthcare organizations.
Deep expertise in managed care contracting, payer relations, reimbursement optimization, and revenue integrity.
Strong ability to analyze complex operational and financial data and translate findings into executive-level recommendations.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication and executive presentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Must be based in the United States.
