You will help build and validate a high-quality CNC manufacturing evaluation dataset. | The role focuses on creating objective grading rubrics for CNC machining solutions using CAD models, tooling, stock, and machine context. | You will apply real production-floor judgment to determine whether a machining approach is safe, practical, and suitable for a production run. | All deliverables are text-based and must include clear, verifiable reasoning.

CNC Machining Evaluation Expert

Responsibilities

• Create objective and verifiable rubrics for evaluating CNC machining solutions.
• Write clear verification rationale for each grading criterion.
• Review sample machining approaches and determine pass/fail outcomes.
• Evaluate whether proposed setups, tooling, and machining strategies would work safely on real production equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Strong production-floor judgment with the ability to assess machining safety, feasibility, and manufacturability.
• Practical understanding of CNC machines, tooling, stock setup, and machining workflows.
• Strong written English skills for creating clear, text-based evaluation criteria and explanations.
