About this role

Network Engineer – Data for Autonomous Systems Annotation responsible for reviewing, labeling, and structuring real-world enterprise networking data to support AI-driven autonomous infrastructure systems. The role combines Level 3/Tier 3 network troubleshooting expertise with data annotation, including analysis of network logs, configurations, telemetry, event streams, incidents, anomalies, and production network behaviors. Experts will apply hands-on troubleshooting, packet analysis, root cause analysis, and wireless networking knowledge to create accurate structured datasets for downstream machine learning models.

Responsibilities

Review production network logs, configurations, telemetry, and event streams.
Label and classify network behaviors, incidents, anomalies, and failure patterns.
Apply L3/Tier 3 troubleshooting and RCA expertise to networking datasets.
Analyze packet-level and infrastructure issues from enterprise environments.
Help define annotation schemas and structures for large-scale AI/ML data pipelines.
Collaborate directly with client teams and provide accurate technical insights for autonomous networking systems.

Qualifications

Current or recent experience as a Level 3, Tier 3, Principal Support Engineer, or equivalent senior network support professional.
Strong experience handling final escalations, outages, on-call support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks including switches, access points, and firewalls.
Strong Wi-Fi/wireless networking expertise with Cisco WLC, Aruba, or Meraki environments.
Practical knowledge of 802.1X, RADIUS, WLAN troubleshooting, packet analysis, and network telemetry.
Experience supporting end-customer enterprise environments such as healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, education, or hospitality.
Ability to work 30–40 hours per week and interface directly with the client team.
Must be based in the United States or Canada.
