About this role

You will work directly with a leading AI lab to improve how frontier AI systems reason about real-world finance work. | The role focuses on reviewing finance tasks and model outputs, creating instruction specifications, golden solutions, and benchmark datasets. | You will translate senior-level financial judgment into clear evaluation criteria for AI training and research. | This is a full-time, hybrid W-2 role in the Bay Area, California.

Responsibilities

Review finance knowledge-work tasks and AI outputs for flawed assumptions, weak reasoning, missing behaviors, and professional accuracy.
Write instruction specifications, golden solutions, and realistic finance tasks reflecting industry practice.
Design challenging finance benchmarks and evaluation datasets in collaboration with AI researchers.
Calibrate evaluation standards and convert complex financial judgment into precise, teachable scoring criteria.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of substantive professional finance experience at a recognized financial institution, large corporation, Big Four firm, or regulator.
Deep specialization in areas such as FP&A, investment banking, M&A, asset management, private equity, private credit, quantitative finance, treasury, risk, accounting, or audit.
Senior IC or leadership experience with ownership of financial analysis and decisions; advanced degree and/or CFA, CPA, FRM, or similar credential strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience using LLMs, excellent written communication, and ability to distinguish rigorous financial reasoning from plausible but incorrect outputs.
