About this role

Graphic Designers to support a design analysis and annotation project focused on training next-generation AI systems. The role involves reviewing and deconstructing editorial, poster, marketing, and short-form motion assets using precise design terminology and structured annotation frameworks. Contributors will analyze typography, hierarchy, composition, geometry, color, layout systems, and visual flow while creating exemplar annotations that define quality standards for the dataset. This opportunity is ideal for designers with strong editorial, print, branding, marketing, or motion-design experience and excellent written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Annotate editorial, poster, marketing, and short video assets using precise visual-design and composition terminology.
Deconstruct completed designs into structured layers covering hierarchy, geometry, typography, style, and layout systems.
Create benchmark annotations and identify ambiguous cases, missing categories, or schema edge cases for guideline improvement.
Use Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and related tools to review layered files while maintaining alignment with project leads and quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer, Visual/Brand Designer, Editorial Designer, Layout/Print Specialist, or Art Director.
Strong portfolio demonstrating advanced typography, color, composition, layout, grid systems, and visual hierarchy across editorial or marketing work.
Expert proficiency with Figma, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Canva, or equivalent professional design tools.
Strong written English and ability to describe design concepts accurately using established visual, composition, and production terminology.
