Computational STEM Research Expert

Responsibilities

Design research-grade benchmark tasks involving study design, hypothesis testing, computation, modeling, simulation, and data analysis.
Develop rigorous reference solutions using Python, notebooks, and appropriate research methods.
Evaluate AI model attempts and identify methodological, analytical, or scientific reasoning errors.
Collaborate with researchers and subject-matter experts to maintain consistent benchmark and evaluation standards.

Qualifications

MSc or PhD in a STEM, computational social-science, or computational humanities field, or equivalent research-intensive practical experience.
Minimum 1+ year of active research experience in academia, industry, or national laboratories.
Strong computational research experience using Python for analysis, simulation, modeling, or data pipelines, plus familiarity with Git, IDEs, and Jupyter/Colab.
Strong knowledge of experimental design, hypothesis testing, rigorous evaluation, and clear scientific communication.
