Responsibilities

Legal analysis review: Evaluate AI-generated legal analyses for accuracy, completeness, and practical usefulness.
Civil justice evaluation: Review scenarios involving housing, family law, consumer protection, debt collection, bankruptcy, and related civil matters.
Legal reasoning assessment: Assess issue spotting, statutory and procedural reasoning, litigation strategy, and legal conclusions.
Error identification: Identify incorrect legal assumptions, missing issues, procedural mistakes, or weak reasoning.
Expert feedback: Recommend specific improvements to strengthen AI-generated legal responses.
Written evaluation: Produce clear, structured, and professionally written assessments of AI outputs.
Quality assurance: Apply real-world litigation and advocacy experience to ensure AI responses align with professional legal standards.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active admission to a U.S. state bar.
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience practicing public interest law, civil litigation, nonprofit legal advocacy, impact litigation, or a closely related area.
Strong experience handling civil legal matters and advocating for clients.
Excellent legal research, legal writing, analytical reasoning, and issue-spotting abilities.
Strong understanding of civil procedure, litigation strategy, and practical legal decision-making.
Ability to independently evaluate complex legal scenarios and provide concise, structured expert feedback.
Must be based in the United States.
